Sod Rain Inroads

Souped up shark fin on new china
Braised blue fin across Mariana
As wildlife vie in short order
Fins race wild out to all quarter

Under vast water cataclysm fools
Where sharks are tossed cynicism cools
Recent days frozen slow to movement
Species on prison tray improvement

In kind the world needs a new safari
Yet so far holds off high ground to party
Farmers stalk nations stark to move in
Boosting searchlight on shark and blue fin

Left alone out there on the edge
Swimming free over Mariana ledge
Nice new china soup du jour fin taste
A vast open water under sea of waste

Songs in saltwater have made great strides
Summer satiation whale soup palette slides
Chef joyful in forts overlook hunger's cliff
Rain forest roosters crowed even for the deaf

Technology fishes for neon signs
As blue and shark fin crosses lines
Curious exchange in tastes for the hunt
Poor island nations forged to be blunt

Shark and blue fin so far and few
Times for demand even now spawn anew
Journey together for safe passage through
Sharks all alone in swims for the blue

Kuyper's Diaper

Mammary memories dream a lot like you once had said
Folk pop outfits claim life started out there on a rock bed
Quick summaries in stone never cut it alone if at all
As the story goes so goes the snow off into a waterfall

Paths we take from DNA baked might have gotten us there
Strong as eagles we shaped the crossing for those to dare
Journey's end sends a message back to our strong leader
Is it Ok or do we really have to say that was a real bleeder

Out on the verge pioneers splurge to seek their revenge
We won't rest until we know if they go back to Stone Henge
Volatility remains to predict the strange if they really make it
Or just another day to battle the cry "We're not going to take it"

Under it all lies a tooth and nail squall of whim and desire
They know something's wrong but can't yet put out that fire
Who did you think that was who would blink ever so lightly
Refusals to see what really might be makes us think slightly

Asteroid plantation was an unlikely source for a field of genetic
For reasons they stall any reason at all they now call it frenetic
Justifiably seen diminishes sheen on space flight's wrong doing
A judges faith loses face in the light of any strong new thing

Only a partial sting bears on through to the ring of reality
The worth of it all makes its call out from Kuper's geniality
Ponderous ponderosas pine to know if to be sassy or straight
Difference makers take the cake from bakers and even their plate

Willow's willpower arrives every hour for an aspirin don't be late
Crookedness awaits winged fate to see which arrives love or hate
On the surface of it all we took the ball from beyond somewhere
Orbits only know how far to go to get us to a place of shared care

Scared secrets bend to hem and haw in the wind of deep space
How far below touch and go is the reality that sets us in place
Get up to go don't be slow on the surface you will feel from within
Try as we might, inside is the fight for it is against ourself we win
