Natural Intent

Aloha,
This photo was shot a few feet from the ocean in Waikiki. Here is a good example of structure. The crane is building a structure according to the vision of architectsWe usually don't view the world through nature's eyes, but the way we want to structure it.
Writers structure their world through "storytelling." Let's ponder this idea as we write today.
          Enjoy!

                   Purity of Quest

Surprise a friend then overwhelm
With aspirations to higher realm
What it means others take in jest
This serious business your purity of quest

In your mind you stand nth degree
One who says please thank you pardon me
Clarity in life paints a future that's best
One of principle purity of quest

Up ahead bright shiny city on a hill
Opportunities approach no time to stand still
Fax in your future be the all the best
One of principle purity of quest

Genre:  eSweetHeart Poetry

                    Commitment

It's not so hard to find a side gal or guy
A cool look there in the eyes
Take first steps, quick off the ball
Sincerely summoned commitment call

Good with hands but delivers no blow
Recognizable face easy to know
Hasten to you with a chomp at the bit
Accelerate through then orally commit

A little selfish in a good kind of way
A work of art shown up every day
Run fast to restrict demeaning skit
Gentle to your face orally commit

Turn down offers of another's love
No fear of any below or above
Lights up easy likes to get lit
That special someone orally commit

Blue Shelter

Aloha,
Here is a morning photo. There was a lot of activity around the harbor that morning. I managed to find a "calm spot." Writers also need a calm place they go to write. This photo may help you do that.    Enjoy!

                                    Let's Just Dare

We got a ghost of a chance, to make the most of this dance
Should we have a romance? For you I really care
Our love is here to stay, who could have prayed for this day
Should they find us this way? Why not let's just dare

Don't stop Go fast Get up Make it last
Let's drop, every woe of the past
Let's just dare

There is woo in your eye, you are who I realized
Is love a roll of the dice? My heart, is yours my dear
Can this really be, so beautiful you are to me
Should we hold each other tight? Why not let's just dare

   Milestone Mania

Applaud the milestone
 Cheer it on
Be a Santa in a child's home
Sing the praise sing the song
Applaud the milestone, it won't soon be beat
A stand alone out in the heat

Applaud the milestone let it stand
Until it's ripped by another hand
Witness the feat the possibility
The force of will, natural ability
Sit at the feet of wonderment
It's no wonder everyone went

Applaud that milestone cheer it on
As somebody new sings their song
No hanging heads in bereavement here
No lamentation in the wonder of cheer

Environmental Conscience

Aloha,

This  photo was shot at about 8 in the morning on Waikiki Beach. There are no obvious signs of life, but if you look closely, you may see some. The sky and water are blue because their oxygen refracts sunlight at the blue wavelength. Although we can't see the sun or the oxygen, we can sense its result by the presence of blue. The clouds are white because they hold water, which refracts all colors of sunlight. This photo "implies" the presence of life.
This idea is also true in lyric writing. Writers concoct images, offer a sense of story, and deliver emotion with simple words. We don't "see" all the ingredients, but we can sense the "life" of the story.                                  Enjoy!

           Tell Your Story

Learn the language, learn it well
Oh! the stories you will tell
Don't you worry, don't be shy
Your life may end, but you won't die
Learn the language!

Learn the language, learn it well
Tell your story and tell it well
Burn your anguish, it may sell
Learn the language, learn it well
Learn the Language!

Strip to essential, plot your plot
Get a hook make a book,why not
Chart a few memorable lines
You're the one who makes it shine
Learn the language!

                That What You Want?

You left it there, that ringing in my head
Do you care? Am I better off dead?
Thought I bought it then I heard a cheer
Really got me how you took me there

You sing your jaunt with a stinging taunt
You ring this haunt and spring your daunt
That what you want?

There you go, singing for praise
With eyebrows raised, all the craze
Sing your song, they sing along
Your little jaunt in the places you haunt

Get out there don't beware
They may care, anybody there?
Your sound is what they really want
A little jaunt with a stinging taunt.
Go out there!

Dreams of Blue

Aloha,
Here are 3 examples of different genres in lyric writing
for your song.
Enjoy!

Genre: eFuture Poetry
Flash Bolero

Above the rising sea below the canopy
We seek the safety of our sentiment
Nature drums and motherhood comes
To rise above the sediment

Savage bang an ocean rang
Came the dance of the flash bolero
Fire words hearts stirred
The dark horse of twilight ground zero

Dreams of blue the beauty of green too
Inspire in the cold and the dark
Muses merge museums emerge
Still the darkhorse of twilight sought its mark

A new canopy the blue sky would be
Above the dance of the flash bolero
Below raging swells a calm ocean will dwell
Here motherhood awaits her hero

Genre: Blues

                         What Happens Next

You warm your mind, as her heart grows cold,
then worry grabs hold, down to your soul
A wise man will tell you, get it out of your head,
sorry is a word that can end you' up dead
What's your hurry baby? Please tell me, or send me a text
Won't you tell me now baby, What Happens Next?

You manage your way. You say, " Come what may!"
But you can't stop the day, got dues to pay
day in and day out can't you can hear my heart shout?
There's got to be some, kind of way out..
Jimi and Dylan would shout, would say,
Hey, What Happens Next?

What is going, to happen next?
Somebody tell me or send me a text
Baby won't you please,  don't stack the deck
Just tell me honey, What Happens Next?

You say step up, drink from the cup,
then talk to me like some kind of pup
You tell me remember, then you forget.
Won't somebody tell me, What Happens Next?

Genre: Jazz Swing

                           Hunger the Night

You characterize, so strong
Up to the moment of your momentous little song
You guy wire your tension
Did I mention? This guy is wired for you?

You lead me through. Or is this just
Another little journey to find you, yourself, and you?
I gladly follow with no disguise, baby it's you, you..
Hot wire me wise

Intrigued, never fatigued, surely you must know
When you invite me, excite me, the exits are closed
So close you are, bringing that feeling of home from afar
Can I ride in your car in overdrive? It's true you hot wire me wise

The way I feel when you say you deal right from the heart
It's like we were, when we were right from the start
When we were younger we'd hunger the night, and listen to its cries
Then you would, hot wire me wise

You bring your story, on a stage of glory
In motion, with that look in your eyes, no one denies
Baby it you. You hot wire me wise
