The Catcher in the Palms

Aloha Poets,
A photo of the site in Hawaii where John Lennon's killer worked as a night security guard in late 1980.

Vitriolic Spigot

Here lies the perfect example that nobody's perfect
Resultant motion unwholeheartedly chirps a burpfest
The art of fanning infantile flames a story's digest
At the heart of planning the mercantile chores we detest

Down at the dock a song boat of yore remains
Plot points to the craft left to weather in the rains
A mind trip of flurry catches its balancing act
So blind the slip, a furry cat's dallying pact

Hit the racks with stories of red carpet on sands
Where Lost folks meet for the last time to shake hands
Ask that man or yourself, "Hey what did I step into?"
The pain at hand is to find the pane of your own little window

Is lexicon and milieu really what story is all about?
Take a Leprechaun and fill you with scream and shout?
A reader to feel a new rush of noise, a wind in the pile
Explore a clue with a few bangs that beg a smile

Give the people another way of staying true with you
Oceanfront footage underlines the blue in the view
The notion of frontage in montage defined anew
Merge in ceremony flash a grin that says, "I knew"

Parcels out there you can find with a water well
The freedom of bittersweet throws your hands to say, "Oh well"
Sure all those folks they know you're a good guy
Yet subsistent sustains prejudice with jaundiced eye

Can those stains of fate rely on total bliss?
And dismiss what is this, his destiny that is?
Think not thoughts of that distant loss of song
Linked hearts let you say what you knew all along

Rozzy the Cat

Aloha Poets,
Rozzy the cat inspires today's poem. Enjoy!

The Perishable Publishable Parable

Heartless initiation recaptures meaning in time
With bright side's rough edge lit in lime
A great deal of latitude is where global wisdom hangs out
Writings are heeded to father further hideouts

Orderly peace, a bottom feeder to become
Fresh phrases no bunk bring on the yum-yum
The rub as I see it smoothes a wispy shrill
Never fitting the receive, try as it will

News worthy reports offer meager message
Just who is it now do they try to impress
Along about now life scripts a final an end
Intensifying the mystery question marks won't rescind

Marksman shoots twice at a cache of new tales
In growing concern for turtles and whales
However loudly rapped in google gooey goodness
Wagging tales of joy wraps your rose colored goddess

In a perfect example that nobody's perfect
A power search for weakness needs somebody's pretext
Can double tracks of tiger be a good sign?
Where rankled survivors slowly straggle behind

Darth Vader Pollination

Aloha Poets,
Darth Vader pollination inspires today's poem. Enjoy!

Dumbo Octopus

How to decide your spirit of movement
Three-alarm looks, what motor grooves meant
Waters of the lonely in sunken period pieces rule
Deeper depths slice into a steeper blue

As painstaking Pakistan packs a big stake
Paces of life down here gets a little break
Where shallow rift valleys shadow the deep
Dumbo octopus looms in her sleepy creep

Loquacious licorice battling beach bards
Pricy sandy beaches, the whole nine yards
Thought long dead short lister floats deeply reminded
Swimming smooth as custard, creme pie blinded

Cool as spicy mustard she's no country cow bouncer
Where funnel clouds and funnel cakes gather at lunch counter
Down here there is no come home ashore
Simply flap a fin, come along, swim a little more

Decadent drizzle cements into soft serve
Time passes, indignant feelings die in reserve
At the ready they gun it, then pass by your way
Crossing those borders deep ocean rules sway

Work the middle to peddle from parting shot boos
Faun over the fond ones you yearn to chose
The want is to be heard not hurtled abroad
Not tossed into a circle of turtle and pod

Canola jacuzzi deep fried abounds
Stamp your own ticket from far away fairgrounds
Likened to the fact of so lightened and flat
Playful and thoughtful deep floaters like that
