Valentine Limerick
Aloha Writers,
St. Patrick's Day is March 17! Here is a little
warm-up I wrote this morning on beautiful Maui.
Enjoy!
Maui the Cat
In cursive to his beloved cat,Maui
Wrote verses the poet,Howie
Every time a new line
Rhymed with feline
Maui chimed in, "Meowi Wowie"

Happy Valentine Weekend!
Aloha,
This tropical hibiscus flower inspires today's poem. Enjoy!
Twilight Swords
Back it up then shack it
Even devils cry at your eyes
So striking visually striking
Tugging at your disguise
Tears melt on a face
Bound to be good to understand
Go deep to try to break a heartache
So striking to be a man
So striking so visually striking
Ever waiting then to waste it
Striking so visually striking
Never ever to taste it
Twilight swords gave all you had
To be the master of good and bad
In that house you did your harm
Inside the fogs on hazy farm
So striking so visually striking
You were close enough to taste it
You were striking oh so striking
Twilight swords only waste it

Wild Duck
Aloha Photo Writers,
This wild mallard cruised near Hilton Hawaiian Village. The photo set with green background gives the strolling duck more power as an image. Let's write with this idea today. Enjoy!
Can We Kiss Tonight
Whipsaw work relentless fences
Right minded artists anger in time
Total pretend mode darkness abodes
Can we kiss tonight
Soldier on, not necessarily militarily
Perception of weapons feels like home
Interims massacre in famous light
Can we kiss tonight
Patrolled coasts captivation Goddess
Searchable sites attention to spans
Catapulted catastrophes come away stray
Can we kiss tonight
Interred messages gone with no history
Vacationing back to resorts of silence
Just in time for justice to climb, now
Can we kiss tonight
