Water Flower
Aloha Poets,
Water flower inspires today. Enjoy!
Wonder Hinterland
Moonlight heaven show the way
Dreams destination desire
Break your silence down by the bay
As hearts warm by the fire
Hope for the best where sidelines stare
A journey to wrap your mind around
Disappoint worst case where devils may care
And foreign entanglements abound
Nearby strongholds may resonate slavery
With liberty's statue shrapnel embedded
Fear no wrong commemorate bravery
Utter freedom hinterland headed

Sleepy Eyes
Aloha Poets,
This sleepy tropical beauty inspires today's poem. Enjoy!
Chess Player
To find and chill with cool white horses
The story goes lining up forces
With light touch of tale as wonders kiss him
Royal flushes a miss from the system
Elevated silence the stance of the call
That will be that for once and for all
Mastery of the shadowy loves at first
Connective story then friendships burst
Lightly tread to dark places of yearning
Where classical reaction is already burning
Revealing insights outside the door
On a snowy eve of nevermore
Book the series then vie to move
Game night comes on a twilight groove
As vendettas ride through hunky dory
Chess player now tell your story

Gold Cloud
Aloha Poets,
Gold cloud inspires today's poem. Enjoy!
Native Home
Duck decoy sending out rumbles
Star item underreported mumbles
Bring an Indian fighter in from the cold
Spending rubles bought and sold
Sooted serial where caves dwell
Looted burial wayfarer from hell
Hunter of fortune looking for gold
Finds sparkly blue watery hold
Past paths in search of truth
Lauhala basket burial booth
Antiquities museum ingenuous strains
Iwi Kupuna indigenous remains
Repatriation glee ancestral joy
Skullduggery hulls ancient ploy
Ceremonial wary historic stains
Rebury the truth where native remains

Pollination
Aloha Poets,
Bee on a flower inspires today's poem. Enjoy!
Exact Your Toll
Escort Neanderthals back to the cave
Stormy runs only for the brave
Separate outcry signature tout
Whiz a chore bust it out
Fuel a firestorm teach an inkblot
Widen a scandal hit your beach spot
Fixtures of fashion be what you're not
Godzilla of snack now serve it hot
Watch your back stomach a concern
Reeling moviegoer with something to learn
Nutty for coconut then a little heartburn
Exact your toll some day you'll learn

Tropical Beauty
Aloha Poets,
Tropical flower inspires today's poem. Enjoy!
Night at Bay
Nothing holds the night at bay
Like the feeling of your soft sway
Hearts will have their permanent say
Around the hour of night each day
The beauty of it all is beyond blue
As revels reveal the rebel in you
Lonely like home holds no stead
Only night at bay ahead
The tears of song may pass you by
Where fears belong and tracks may lie
Sometime sunshine brings more than day
When your sweet arms hold the night at bay

Going Green
Aloha Poets,
Two buddies inspire today's poem. Enjoy!
Giant Gyre
A little part of them lives in you
Freedom found by a select few
Image harvest fast tasty health
Giant gyre collected wealth
Simply amazing that wall came down
Old crowning glory now on the ground
Diversification of creativity
Finds western liberal democracy
Tyrants of paint, brush your ware
With crack shrunk works of poetic flair
Creative tyrant stay the course
Giant gyre go ride that horse

Google Eye Flower
Aloha Writers,
Flower appearing to look back inspires today's poetry. Enjoy!
Let's Play Halfsies
Let's all storm the beach anew
Light a screen distant friends on cue
Early jolts excite the crews
Fancy teams too loaded to lose
Find a way to make a mark
Cavernous basement space so dark
Savor the salty language flair
With magic topics in the air
Come knocking at our door
Before we at yours do the chore
Let's play halfies amidst life's fizzes
To warm the after glows of cold business

Hawaii Photo Poetry
Lulls and Runs
Fantasy reasons but their yours
War horses have their own cures
Dry and gripping wild and wet
Is yesterday down on paper yet?
Contingents continue to choke the gun
All the while something's dripping on the sun
Breathe in the view and momentum of fate
Grown more skeptical as of late
Language with its native patterns
Search the skies for other Saturns
Rhythm melody intensity play
Tune in the chatter of the Milky Way
Standing far back from the starting line
Plato's piano plays so fine
Stubborn ambition flaunts duality
In lulls and runs of reality
Fantasy reasons but their yours
War horses have their own cures
Dry and gripping wild and wet
Is yesterday down on paper yet?
Contingents continue to choke the gun
All the while something's dripping on the sun
Breathe in the view and momentum of fate
Grown more skeptical as of late
Language with its native patterns

In lulls and runs of reality

Cool Mountain
Aloha Poets,
Panoramic Hawaii mountain inspires today's poem. Enjoy!
The Potting Soil
Final burst hushes the bush
Worrisome undercurrent daily rush
Grow so much in such little time
The potting soil the nursery rhyme
Large melee a life of remembrances
Rocky boat of life's little dances
Sold on a promise smitten by a voice
Offer a window of one more choice
Sky high sense of possibility
The genial prose of sensibility
Vast array of dancing Iowans
Owes IOU's to tribes of Kiowans
Across the plains on a quest of gold
Plain spoken now where the trains roll
Familiar plateau with its legions of loyal
Once were America once potting soil

Sunny Flower
Aloha,
Flower Hibiscus inspires today's poem. Enjoy!
Smokey Silk
A worrisome first incendiary call
Eccentric of recent descent makes the fall
Fall forward fashions fault system
Cluster trigger then she kissed him
First in the latest of critical stress
Ready to rock with a tiny force stress
Research of debate ongoing
Be a smirk as of late going boing boing
It lines up for them on a slugfest
Distance diminishes the hugfest
Reflection of love for your islands
Enchanted ocean disguises the lands
Cautionary tale and laws of physics
Drunken fairy bound to kiss it
Laws don't hold the Kakamazoo Kid
Overlook smokey silk homestead

Wispy Horse
Aloha Writers,
Wild wispy horse inspres today's poetry. Enjoy!
Argentina Tango
Upbeat at the outset offensive offer
Chances to go downhill up the coffer
hard-draw flap photo real
Aesthetic calculation declines the deal
Incline to disclose inspired recipe
Big epic fairy tale go see
Ouster success independent tech
Advances its pace away from the wreck
Emblematic blemish gird for a snag
Storied icon bring a brown bag
Mountain pristine eye the ball
Drive the foothills break the wall
Spotlight your game eat your mango
Ride a horse Argentina tango
Arrowhead Road
Aloha,
Here is an exerpt from my novel, Arrowhead Road. Enjoy!
Her mind was calm but she knew what was coming. She dragged the match across flint and lit a rolled cigarette.
She was thin and pretty and had wanted to be a horse woman. She and Custer's daughter had been friends until the Indian Wars started on the prairies up north. There were too many soldiers up there and now all these newspaper writers. Still she wanted to be a horse woman and she couldn't be one living in this dirty camp.
