Night at Bay
Nothing holds the night at bay
Like the feeling of your soft sway
Hearts will have their permanent say
Around the hour of night each day
The beauty of it all is beyond blue
As revels reveal the rebel in you
Lonely like home holds no stead
Only night at bay ahead
The tears of song may pass you by
Where fears belong and tracks may lie
Sometime sunshine brings more than day
When your sweet arms hold the night at bay
