Songbirds and Lizards

Aloha poets,
Songbirds and lizards inspire today's poem. Enjoy!

Songbirds and Lizards

Usability cools as quality churns to cheer
Vigilant nature is for all to hear with tiny ear
Embezzled puzzles jungle iconic lizard brains
Utility innovates to hear songbirds through the rains

Backdrops in rain drops context to eavesdrop
So useful our ears to hear when varying calls stop
Content means more with content at a crawl
Lizards listen in on a songbird's frantic call

Judgement calls run rampant to fear silent growl
Setting takes precedence over predator prowl
To help or detract in vocalized fashion
Loquacious lizards dash to splash on

Birds eye view sees all above soft canopy
A creepy crawly guy hears only what they see
Overall impressions are not what is at stake
Incommunicado lizard has nothing on a snake

The ultimate meaning of a vocal unsent
Any balancing of danger is time well spent
As need for speed outweighs forest guise
Songbirds inform of elements of surprise

Repeated calls of alarm they call to overhear
Songbird to a lizard brings meanings to bear
Of what other use might tiny ears hold true?
Eavesdropping for danger is the only clue

Entire works of art rely on context of sound
Lizard brains iconic notion holds to the ground
Decorum at best seeks out buzzards and hawks
Little lizard ears listen to hear dangerous squawks

Paradise flycatcher is in close eavesdrop proximity
A far cry from the loquacious lizards of a big city
Vigilant in the forest songbird calls have your back
Vocal shifts from normal songs signal impending attack
